Hi there. I’m Theo, a freelance radio producer, reporter and writer from Los Angeles.
My work can be heard on NPR stations including WBUR Boston, Connecticut Public Radio, WCAI Cape & Islands, and KCRW Santa Monica. My byline has appeared in the Los Angeles Times and the Santa Monica Daily Press.
I covered the 2018 midterm elections as an intern at KCRW, Southern California's NPR affiliate, and I've been on an episode of This American Life.
I have reported on social issues, such as the homelessness crisis in Los Angeles and the opioid epidemic in Massachusetts, as well as both local and national politics. As the News Editor for Santa Monica College's Corsair, I led an investigation that uncovered allegations of racist comments made by members of the college's senior staff. My reporting resulted in a public statement from the school's superintendent and the college adopting its most strident anti-discrimination policies to date. I'm also a wine writer for Slow Wine.
I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and I'm proud to have completed the Transom Story Workshop in the Fall of 2019.
